A Taste of Home: KFC Reunites IRD Humanitarian Aid Worker With Her Family
After more than a year away from their family, Jo Anne Yeager Sallah, her husband, and two children were reunited with Yeager Sallah's parents on Wednesday. Yeager Sallah has been managing since 2008 an International Relief and Development (IRD) program that boost cashew production and sales in the Gambia, in West Africa, in an effort to reduce the effects of the ongoing food crisis in the region. Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) arranged for the surprise family gathering in Sunnyvale, CA, as part of their "Better Together" campaign.
