A New Vision for the USAID-US NGO Relationship
InterAction has published a policy paper calling for a “new partnership” between USAID and US-based nongovernmental organizations. It is the first in a series of white papers intended to explore the role of US NGOs in key USAID Forward reforms. Subsequent papers will focus on local capacity building, procurement reform, and a strategic policy dialogue. InterAction’s member organizations have called for a closer partnership with USAID, as they bring a range of assets to today’s rapidly evolving international development environment.
